About Camp Zoomie

Camp Zoomie is a home away from home boarding retreat for your pups. All visitors stay inside our home. We have extensive training on dog safety and manage all pups with a level of care and oversight that they deserve. There are no outdoor kennels, and dogs are never left alone outside. We have a completely fenced in yard with a swimming pool on a wooded lot. You can rest assured knowing your loved one will be well cared for while you’re away. Safety and well-being are our top priorities. We send photos and videos while you are away so you have peace of mind that your dog is safe and well.

I am a huge dog lover with almost 30 years of experience as a dog trainer. The boarding all began simply enough. A friend asked me to watch her dogs while away. They swam every day, and we had an absolute blast. I sent her videos and pictures of them having a great time. She was so happy, she asked if she could refer some friends and family to me. It’s been the greatest thing ever. I am familiar with just about every breed of dog there is. I am able to take care of any size, age or breed. Big or small, I love them all. I also have plenty of experience with dogs that have anxiety, medical needs, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Camp Zoomie handle payment?

Camp Zoomie charges for each day of stay. For example, if you drop off Friday and pick up the following day, you will be charged for two days. Payment in full is due at the time of drop-off. Payments can be made by check, cash or Zelle, preferably.

What do you feed my dog while at Camp Zoomie?

We only feed your dog the food (and treats) that you provide for them. We do this to ensure that the quality and type of food fits your doggie’s needs and dietary restrictions. They will not have access to human food or other dog foods during their stay. If we run out of food during their stay, there will be a $20 fee for replacement food plus the cost of the food.

What should I bring with my dog for their stay at Camp Zoomie?

Please bring enough food and treats for the length of the stay. Bring any medications needed along with written instructions. We provide dog bowls and bedding, so you do not need to bring yours.

What happens if travel is extended?

That is perfectly fine! We will accommodate unexpected travel changes and ensure that your pup is well taken care of. You will be charged for the additional days.

What safeguards are in place for my Dog?

Your dog’s safety is our top priority. Therefore, anytime your dog is outside, we are with them. We do not allow any dogs to be left alone in the yard, even though it is fenced. We also do not risk dog interactions or playing with other dogs unless they are from the same household.

Do I need to do a meet and greet before booking a stay?

Meet and greets are not mandatory but are absolutely welcome. Please contact us to schedule a visit.
